In order to implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the reform and construction of digital government and enhance the efficiency of digital government, the State Intellectual Property Office will promote the comprehensive electronic patent examination service and realize the "one-stop service" for patent examination and approval. From March 1, 2022 (inclusive), the State Intellectual Property Office will no longer receive paper patent certificate requests for electronic patent applications, and relevant patent certificates will only be issued through the electronic patent application system. The authenticity of the electronic patent certificate can be verified through the China Patent Electronic Application Network.
